Life is chaotic, have fun
This is the story of The Brady Bunch, a woman who was bringing up two very lovely girls, all of them had hair, the youngest one in curls.
Here’s the story of a man named Dukey, who was busy with three boys and a girl of his own, they were five people living all together, yet they were all alone.
Till the one day when the cute lady winked on Match.com at this fellow. And they knew it was much more than a hunch, that this crazy crew would somehow form a family.
Not quite as harmonious as the beloved Brady Bunch….yet a family full of love and fun. Chris and Toby would do it all over again.
Toby Turlay is the glue that holds the chaos together. She is a mother/stepmother of 6 kids, a former medical device salesperson drinking and appreciating wine (“momma’s little helper”) has become a passion. Her claim to fame is that she dropped out of Navy flight school after three weeks because the whole concept of instant obedience was foreign to her. Imagine being married to her ;-) A student at the renowned Walla Walla Community College Institute for Enology and Viticluture. She is the quality control manager who pulls no punches when tasting.
Chris Dukelow is a start up junkie who thrives in early stage companies usually as the finance/operations guy. A CPA by training, he’s really a closet sales guy who loves to meet and interact with customers. Raised in Richland, WA he used to ride motorcycles in the desert in what is now the Red Mountain AVA. Returning to Eastern Washington often, visiting wineries and their winemakers, his passion for great Pacific Northwest wines has grown over the years. In 2011, between jobs, Chris took several courses at UC Davis, read a number of books on winemaking, took a number of winemaking courses at Northwest Wine Academy and started making wine as a hobby with fruit from Rattlesnake Hills, Columbia Valley and Red Mountain. By 2013, the hobby was out of control and a commercial winery was founded in the garage.
"Accept what life offers you and try to drink from every cup. All wines should be tasted; some should only be sipped, but with others, drink the whole bottle"
